Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
How Tire Pressure Monitoring System works in your car
The system ensures that you are warned when your tire pressure goes lower than a threshold. In most cars, the warning light comes on when your tire pressure is 25% lower than the manufacturer’s set value. At that pressure value even a trained eye may probably not notice that the tire is getting deflated but the effect will already be there. The wear may increase, fuel consumption may increase, drag will increase. It is therefore a course of wisdom to ensure your TPMS where fixed is working properly. This is a safety device and because of its importance, many countries already have legislatures that make it mandatory for cars of certain weight.
If your TPMS warning light does not come on and goes out when you turn on the ignition, or it comes on and remain on, it is important you reach us. If it is blinking, then it is urgent that you reach us.
